#KeyTheMicChallenge
Participants film themselves sending a message over a ham radio (or handheld transceiver) using their call sign or a brief Morse code message. After sharing their video, they challenge other ham operators or friends to do the same, with the goal of spreading awareness about amateur radio and its community impact.
How it works!!
Key the Mic
Record yourself transmitting a message (voice or Morse code) on your ham radio or handheld device. Include a shoutout to the ARRL Rocky Mountain Division (ARRLRMD) & HamCon Colorado 2025 and why ham radio is important to you.
Challenge Friends
At the end of your message, challenge 2-3 fellow licensed hams (or friends) to do the same by name and call sign.
Donate & Share
Optionally, participants can donate to HamCon 2025 and share the link or address for others to contribute, adding a charitable component.
